Help with SEDDAS Accounts

The SEDDAS Help Desk is available to assist CEOs with password resets and the basics of creating, entitling and managing their school administrator SEDDAS accounts.ÌýCEO Accounts are created automatically based on the CEO of record in SEDREF.ÌýThe SEDDAS Help Desk is not able to create or entitle accounts – only the CEO Superintendent or a Delegated Account Administrator (DA/EA) assigned by the CEO has the authority to manage, create and entitle accounts to any applications to access from the Viva88 Business Portal.

To do this the CEO will need to know what the business rules of the applications are, what entitlements should be granted for each application. If they are unsure of what entitlements are needed and under what BEDS code the account should be created, they can contact the Viva88 program office that requested they report the data. For contact information of those Viva88 Program Offices, please go toÌýBusiness Portal Applications and Contact Information.

To create, entitle and manage accounts they have to log into the Ìýand select SED Delegated Account System (SEDDAS) under My ApplicationsÌýand create and entitle accounts. For detailed instructions, please review the SEDDAS User Guides and Quick Guides.

The SEDDAS Help Desk is not able to help with technical questions about applications and does not have information on the applications themselves, or how to report the data you need to submit. If you can log in to the Business Portal and need assistance with an application launched from the Business Portal, please contact the program area that requested you submit the data.

Help with Applications

Questions about applications accessed through the Business Portal or how to report the data you need to submit can be directed to your RIC, your BOCES or your Data Warehouse depending on who the owner of the application is.Ìý You can also contact the Viva88 program office of the application that you need assistance with. For contact information of those Viva88 Program Offices, please click the Business Portal Applications and Contact Information link found on the menus at the left.Ìý

If you can log into the Business Portal and have the correct entitlements, and still cannot report or view the data you are trying to access, you will need to contact the Viva88 program office that requested you submit data.
