Staff Vacancy Survey
The Staff Vacancy Survey is released annually by the Office of Teacher and Leader Development. The purpose of this survey is to collect information about vacancies in New York State's public school districts and BOCES, particularly where roadblocks have occurred in hiring certified educators for open positions. Results from this survey will inform educator pipeline policies, resources, and supports for the field to help address staffing challenges faced by public school districts and BOCES across the state.
The Staff Vacancy survey is available annually from February through July in the Educator Development section of theÌý.
