New STEPS Resources and Webinar Recordings Available
New resources are available to support school districts and BOCES develop and submit their STEPS plans under Education Law §3012-e.
Two recorded webinars, along with Questions and Answers from each live session, are now available:
- STEPS Pre-Submission Workbooks and the Plan Summary Form, held July 29, 2026, and the accompanying Questions and Answers
- STEPS Standards-based Measure Selection and Rating, held August 12, 2026, and the accompanying Questions and Answers
Additional planning and submission resources include the STEPS Pre-Submission Workbook for Teacher Plans, STEPS Pre-Submission Workbook for Principal Plans, STEPS Plan Summary Form (PDF), and Frequently Asked Questions about the STEPS Plan Summary Form (§3012-e).

OTLD is available to provide technical assistance throughout the STEPS design process. School districts and BOCES are encouraged to connect with the Office early in the process so that support can be provided while local design decisions are still taking shape.
