FAQ released on the Educational Leadership Standards and Education Law §3012-d Evaluation Plans

  • Beginning in the 2025–2026 school year, all Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) must use a principal practice rubric aligned with the PSELs (NYS Version) in their educator evaluation plans approved under Education Law §3012-d.Ìý
  • This FAQ document provides guidance on the rubric approval process, a list of approved principal practice rubrics, and actions required to select a new principal practice rubric, if applicable.ÌýÌý
